Hello My Beautiful Friends!
I have a confession: I am so in love with this trapeze dress. I wore this to brunch with Johnny and got so many compliments. People kept stopping to ask me where the dress was from. Sizes in both colors royal blue and pink are going fast on Nordstrom and Topshop, so if you like this dress, I’d recommend purchasing now. I was initially drawn to the beautiful short flutter sleeves, which I think are so beautiful and compliment the unstructured silhouette of the dress. I also do like how the neckline of the dress is flat and not bunched like the sleeves, which I think makes it very chic. This dress does run a little short. I took a 0 Petite and it hits about two to three inches above my knees and I’m 5’3. On Nordstrom, the length is 32 inches on regular sizing and 31 inches on petite sizing for the size 8. The dress is also unlined, but I didn’t mind, this makes it super easy to steam.
I styled up this trapeze dress with simple heels and dark accessories including these beautiful crushed black pearl earrings. This dress would be great for occasions where food is involved because of the unstructured silhouette, aka you can eat as much as you want and won’t have to worry about a food baby showing hehe. You can also dress it down with distressed shorts, flat sandals (very similar to Valentino Rockstuds for only $33!), a floppy hat and big tote (love this ivory one with cognac handles).
If you love the neckline and flutter sleeves of this trapeze dress, it’s also available in a top coming in a pale peach, chartreuse, bright orange and light turquoise or mint.
