Hello Everyone!
Now that 2016 is underway, I wanted to share some of my fashion-related resolutions. The first is to be a bit more daring. The second is to find new ways to mix in old pieces.
This little red dress helps me take care of the first one! When I competed in Miss USA, I wore a number of sexy little pieces, but I never really felt comfortable wearing them outside the “pageant” world. Now, I’m working on embracing that and being more adventurous.
While browsing Nordstrom online, I spotted this red dress and it instantly made me smile. I love the simplicity of the dress, its clean lines and the slit. The material is a nice knit and isn’t sheer, so you don’t have to worry about undergarment lines.
I didn’t want to complicate the look, so I went with no jewelry and my favorite black heels of the moment to add some interest.
