Calvin Klein yellow lace dress, Stuart Weitzman heels, Chloe satchel
Thierry Lasry sunglasses, Kendra Scott earrings, YSL ring
Hi My Beautiful Friends!
I have been searching for great yellow dresses for what felt like years. I’m very picky when it comes to the shade of yellow I wear. I’ve always wanted a bright sunny, canary yellow shade, not a darker mustard or faded butter shades. I found this yellow lace sheath dress and almost died of happiness! I loved the lace detailing, but Johnny thought it looked like cheese…and my good friends said it looked like roti jala, a Mayalasian net bread! Regardless, of whether it looks like something you can eat or not, I was so in love I got it anyways. I’ve actually nicknamed this my roti jala dress! I’ve gotten tons of compliments on the color when I wear this yellow lace dress. The color is stunning in person. Unfortunately in Calvin Klein sizing for this dress, size 2 is the smallest, so I had to alter this dress. I left the hem alone, but the sides were take in two inches to hug my figure more. The dress itself is very comfortable and isn’t too snug of a fit, so it’d be great for brunch dates 😉
A sheath dress is so easy to wear for a variety of occasions. For work, I would wear pumps, for fancier occasions heeled sandals like the ones I’m wearing above and for fun casual settings I’d pair these with white converse or espadrilles.
If you’re looking for canary yellow dresses, I’ve rounded up a couple others I found from Calvin Klein that are great. I got this scuba cap-sleeve dress I know is going to be a work staple. Also, I found this super fun halter dress with a full skirt complete with pockets! This would be perfect for any summer party occasion!
