Happy Friday! To those of you who are living near the Texas Gulf Coast, I hope you all stay safe while Hurricane Harvey heads your direction. I cover plenty of hurricanes myself here in Coastal Virginia, so I know they are no joke. Whenever the weather gets drab, I love to throw on bright colors to try and spruce things up.

I’m very favorable to sunny hues, so this Chicwish yellow two piece skirt set is a natural favorite. This shade of yellow is a great transitional color for the end of summer and into fall. This yellow two piece skirt set is what I like to call north of boho but south of chic. If you are thinking of attending any festivals, this would be the perfect look. The flare long sleeves give this set a whimsical feel, while the skirt is feminine. The embroidery is very well done and detailed, which really gives this two piece set depth. Of course, you can wear both pieces again separately. The top would be great with jeans and booties. Plus, the skater skirt would be darling with a solid long sleeve tee.
