The summer months can be extra tough on skin, especially when everyone’s heading on beach and lake trips. As someone who spends a majority of their life in the heat, easy, hydrating summer makeup and skincare is actually one of my specialties! What I love about all of these products is they help you look pulled together without making your skin break out or feel gross. Although they serve me well during the hottest months, I’d recommend all of these any time of the year depending on what your needs are!

LIPS

Ilia Balmy Tint Hydrating Lip Balm

I make sure to always keep this balm in my summer makeup bag! It keeps my lips so, so smooth and soft. The tint also adds the perfect amount of color that lasts a long time.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

I absolutely cannot fall asleep with dry and flakey lips. This lip mask keeps them super soft and moisturized every day, and I make sure to never skip this at night!

tarte Juicy Lip Balm

I’m usually more of a lipstick person, but I’ve been loving glosses lately! This one is super hydrating and plumps your lips, and even erases the appearance of lip lines. It can be hard to find glosses with this much shine that don’t feel sticky but I recommend this one 100%.

Lawless Forget the Filler Lip Plumper Gloss

This is another great lip plumping gloss! The formula is shiny and smooth, but I love the applicator the most. It’s super plush, which makes applying the gloss feel so luxurious. One thing to note is the vial is bigger to accommodate the applicator, in case you feel deceived by the amount of product you get.

FACE

Supergoop! Glowscreen

If you only invest in one summer makeup product, this should be it. It’s an SPF 40 sunscreen with a glowy tint to it, which makes you look a little more put together at the beach or pool without having to put on any actual makeup.

SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic

I use a lot of products that help maintain my skin or make me feel good, but this is one that’s truly made it better. I know the C E Ferulic isn’t exactly cheap, but the cocktail of antioxidants really works wonders. My skin is protected against pollutants, and is softer, brighter, and firmer. So important for summer when you’re typically more relaxed from your usual routine!

Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint

During the summer in particular, I want my beauty products to work smarter and not harder. This skin tint acts as coverage, SPF, and skincare all at the same time. It also has an extremely lightweight and hydrating formula that gives you the prettiest dewy finish!

tarte SEA Breezy Cream Bronzer

My favorite summer makeup looks include a gorgeous glow, which I achieve in part thanks to my favorite cream bronzer that’s the perfect warm brown. It’s waterproof, super easy to apply, and very blendable, all of which I appreciate!!

La Mer The Powder

I can’t say enough good things about this setting powder. It’s made with La Mer’s amazing skin-boosting Miracle Broth, and I’m super impressed with how it creates an instantly matte finish while also providing some subtle radiance. Although this powder is a little pricey, it should last six months-a year depending on how often you use it.

tarte Creaseless Undereye Concealer

I love this concealer because it provides amazing coverage for things like dark circles, yet holds up wonderfully in hot weather with its waterproof formula. I’m really happy with the way it doesn’t crease once applied!

tarte Cheek Stain

An absolute summer makeup essential! Cheek stains like this one are fantastic because you don’t need a brush and it blends so easily into the skin. I also love how this formula is made with a lot of water because it doesn’t feel heavy at all.
