Elizabeth & James Drop Waist Dress (on sale!), Stuart Weitzman heels,
Kate Spade tote (sale!), Charming Charlie earrings c/o, Love Always sunglasses, YSL ring
Hello My Beautiful Friends!
Just a quick post today sharing an outfit I wore to brunch recently. Pink is becoming one of my favorite colors to wear and I love this shade with just a hint of peach in it. Elizabeth & James calls this shade apricot. What drew me to this dress is the drop waist silhouette. This halter dress has straps tying right behind your neck. It’s made of a beautiful crepe fabric, which is light airy, but still holds shapes nicely. It has a slightly loose fit, which is great for wearing during hot summer days when you need to be on the fancier side of the dress code. I’ve also worn this dress with sandals for a more casual look, so it can be styled up and down. Here’s the best part of this drop waist dress: it has pockets! I seem to have a great knack for finding these. The armholes on this dress do run a little low on me, but you can still wear a traditional strapless bra with it. I’m wearing a size XS here. This drop waist dress is lined and unfortunately a handwash or dry clean item.
Besides apricot, this dress also comes in a few other colors including a lovely almond color, which is a very pale yellow. This color would look beautiful on those with a tanner complexion and bronzed skin. Elizabeth and James also makes this dress in classic black and white. The black is sold out everywhere, but I did find the white in a few sizes here.
