Winter weather can be dreary but fashion doesn’t have to be. Over the years, I’ve amassed quite the coat collection and you can bet it has colorful pieces in it. Bright coats are one of my favorite winter pieces because not only do you stand out in a sea of black, brown and navy, but really let your personality shine. Plus, a colorful coat can be a big confidence booster. In this post, I’m excited to share how to style a pink winter coat different ways. From workwear to more casual winter outfits the possibilities are endless.
A pink winter coat is fabulous in so many ways. It’s a statement but practical. It’s chic and, of course, so versatile. Plus, I love how it looks great with monochromatic looks or if you want to add it as a pop of color over an all-white, all-black or all neutral brown look.

Workwear
The J.Crew Lady Coat is easily one of my favorite coat silhouettes. I already own it in a few colors, so there’s no surprise when I saw this bright bubblegum pink pop in stock for this season, I snapped it up to fulfill my pink winter coat dreams. It’s a classic A-Line silhouette with great seams to add shape and interest. I truly love the fit of this coat for workwear, special occasions or dressing up jeans and a cashmere sweater (see that look below).
For a workwear or business casual look, I’m styling my pink winter coat over a striped mock neck sweater dress. This dress is truly so flattering on and is currently on sale for less than $38, which is a steal! One reason I love mock neck sweater dresses is because they keep you warm but also elongate your body. This coat hits right around where the hem of the dress so it’s a perfect fit.

Casual & Chic
When you can let a pink winter coat shine over an all-black outfit, I say go for it! While this look is slightly casual, it can definitely work for more lax work environments, too. You can also swap out all black for all white or any other neutral color for the same effect. This really allows the pink winter coat to make a statement. Plus, when you’re indoors, you can rock a sleek neutral outfit without color. I got this cashmere turtleneck earlier this year and it’s easily one of my favorite sweaters. It’s so warm, versatile and I reach for it to wear on its own or as a layering piece.

Cozy & Comfy
One reason I love winter is all the cozy pieces. I don’t live somewhere with a lot of snow anymore so the concept is magical to me! Bundling up for the crisp cold air always makes me happy inside. A pink winter coat would be fabulous over a colored sweater with black leggings and snow boots. I love this wool coat because it has an oversized fit, which makes it perfect for layering over sweaters and vests for extra warmth. Plus, it has lots of pockets!

I mentioned above this coat works in all settings so I wanted to share a casual look, too. Over a sweater and jeans, this coat can shine and truly elevate any casual outfit. For size reference, I’m wearing size Petite 0 and love the fit. I also have this coat in Petite 00, too. Just depends on how snug you want it to fit since this is a more form-fitting coat.
