What a whirlwind week it has been! I know with December creeping around the corner, there are holiday gatherings on almost everyone’s schedule. I know when I did a poll on Instagram, many of you wanted an office holiday party outfit idea. I’ll admit, this can be a tricky one, especially if it’s a party taking place at the office or place of work. Y’all know I’m a fan of versatile pieces and this Gal Meets Glam Nell dress and jacket is no exception. Julia Engel is such an inspiration and I’m more than happy to support her by purchasing something from her collection. This outfit makes me feel bold, confident and powerful. When I got this in the mail, I literally couldn’t wait to try it on!

Tweed is a great fabric for fall and winter, which makes it perfect for the holiday. I love this dress and matching jacket as an office holiday party outfit idea. Whether you wear them together or separate either item is appropriate for work. Two-piece sets or monochrome looks are truly so chic and elegant. Personally, I don’t think I’ll ever get not love them. This tweed dress boasts a fit and flare with a darling velvet bow at the neckline. Plus, the cap sleeves and pockets pretty much make this dress irresistible! Of course, the jacket is a stunning piece as well. I love the cropped look, which is much for flattering and elongating. The buttons are for show as its a snap closure jacket. Wear it together with the matching dress for a polished look. Or wear over a chic white blouse with high-waisted black pants.

One reason I love this outfit for an office holiday party outfit idea is you can wear it to work then straight to the party. It’ll work at the desk and then when you’re sipping champagne and exchanging White Elephant gifts. I will note, this tweed has more glitter and sparkle than photos let on. I know I don’t plan on wearing this outfit to a more serious story but it’ll work for pretty much anything else. Gal Meets Glam recently launched petite sizing, so the dresses are sure to fall at the right place and fit like a glove. I’m wearing size 00 Petite in both the dress and jacket for reference.
