Blue Meadow Vines Blouse c/o, Ivory Leggings, Gray Suede Booties (similar)
Ray-Ban Sunglasses, Drop Earrings c/o (comes in 11 colors!), Prada Tote (similar)
When it comes to blouses for work, I love soft fabrics I can easily manipulate. That way I can weather them over pants or tuck them into skirts without an issue. This blue meadow vines blouse is perfect for fall. The lace yoke neckline is an instant eyecatcher. Plus, I love how it extends to the shoulders, too. This blouse is lightweight, so you can wear it on its own, or underneath blazers or cardigans if it’s chilly. I always have this problem at work, so I love how chic it looks underneath layers. The vine print is sweet and southern, yet sophisticated enough for the office. I’m wearing a size 0 and it fits well while also being easy to take on and off for a blouse without stretch. I’m styling it casually here with leggings and booties.
As y’all can probably tell, I’m a big fan of wearing color. To keep things from being too busy, while still being vibrant stay in the same color family. Here, I’m going with different shades of blues and grays to keep the look somewhat monochromatic. The periwinkle color of my earrings matches one of the colors in the print. That color is also similar to my mirrored-lens sunglasses. I’m wearing ivory bottoms to keep things simple so the blues can really pop. Finally, the shades of gray from my bag and booties are more on the cool side, so this pairs nicely with the other blues in my outfit. When experimenting with clothes pay attention to the coolness and warmth of colors and try to keep them the same. Also, I could not help but notice this vine print also comes in a beautiful dress.
