There is something so beautiful and magical about snow…
When it gets white outside and windy, I layer up. Wool or cashmere tights, fleece-lined leggings, then bottoms of my choice. I did lots of research on snow boots, wanting to make sure I made the right choice so my toes wouldn’t fall off. After much research and wearing these in the snow for a couple hours, I am very happy with my decision. My feet were very warm and stayed dry, even after playing around and kicking up snow!
One of my favorite places to go in Grand Island is The Chocolate Bar. It looks like a coffee shop you could easily find in any bigger city, including Austin or Dallas. It’s my little oasis, outside of my apartment, and has the best hot beverages and cakes! It’s winter, so my go-to is a pumpkin-spiced latte and an apple-harvest cake.
