Happy Monday Everyone!
I hope you had a great first day of Spring! I’m looking forward to warmer weather and adding some more pastels and florals to my wardrobe. I stumbled upon this slouchy sweater in H&M a few weeks ago. I was drawn to the soft texture, the cuffs on the quarter-sleeve and the colors available (beige, white, red, navy). After much consideration, I ended up going with the beige, even though I almost walked out with the white. Of course, the moment I bought it, winter weather returned to Nebraska and I couldn’t wear it! I finally got to wear it recently and love how you can style it two different ways. Wearing it off-the-shoulder is my preferred method, but I do enjoy wearing it like normal as well. This sweater washes very easily and is low maintenace. I didn’t notice any pilling or stretched areas after it made its way through the washer and dryer. It does slide off my petite wooden hangers, but I just use the hanger straps to keep it up.
I didn’t catch the distressed denim bug until last year. My favorite pair is a rag + bone pair and since then I’ve worn them quite bit. I wanted to add a white pair into the mix and have been looking around at different pairs. I usually gravitate toward J Brand for denim. I spotted the J Brand Demented White Distressed online and pulled the plug. I love the cut and fit and the jeans are very elongating. This particular pair is super comfy and I really liked how the rips were sporadic and aren’t too revealing. I like when the rips are still intact with the jeans and don’t show too much skin. I can tell I’ll be wearing these for years to come!
