Happy Friday, Everyone & Chúc Mung Nam Moi Nam!!!
It seems like winter has shown up and refuses to leave, however a secret dash of spring seemed to arrive earlier this week when temperatures climbed just a little bit. My best friend graciously got me the beautiful romper as a farewell gift when I passed on my title as National American Miss and I have been obsessed with wearing it since! Since it is Vietnamese New Year I figured there was no better time! It is traditional to wear lots of red and yellow for good luck on Tet, however I wanted to do a little twist and wear bright colors and floral, which still represent good luck.
It is Vietnamese tradition to give those younger than you lì xì, red envelopes filled with money. If you receive them from those older than you, it is important to wish them a year full of prosperity, good health, success and happiness. I would like to wish my readers a year full of style and for your wishes to come true!
Thanks for reading!
