Hi Friends! As y’all may know, I take my sleep very seriously. It’s been almost nine months since I got my Leesa mattress and I’m teaming up with Leesa and west elm to share details of my sanctuary aka my bedroom decor. I’m so in love with how my bedroom looks and it makes me feel at peace and cozy. To me, my bedroom is my sanctuary. It’s my safe place and where I go to unwind, rejuvenate and prepare for the day ahead. I don’t like to do very many things other than sleep in my bedroom. I feel like that helps me with a good night’s sleep. Plus, having a mattress that allows my body to get the rest it needs while bedding and decor make it all beautiful is icing on the cake.
When it comes to my Leesa mattress I’m honestly getting the best sleep of my life. I wake up feeling ready to take on my crazy busy days. The bed is a little too comfortable because, on weekends, I definitely don’t want to get out of bed when I should. Before, I remember waking up about one to three times a night. Now, it’s a rare occasion I wake up in the middle of the night! It’s truly a great thing to wake up feeling rejuvenated. Personally, it means I’m in a better mood, too. So far, there isn’t any sinking in the mattress and it looks to be in excellent condition. Also, I’ve washed the gray cover and put it back on without any problems. Leesa now has pillows, which have the same foam in the mattresses. It’s designed to keep you cool and no fluffing is required.
If you are interested in a Leesa mattress but want to try it out yourself before purchasing, I have great news. Leesa is now available for you to try in west elm stores nationwide, thanks to a new partnership! If you live in Hampton Roads or New York City, you can head to the Leesa stores, too.
To help me with my bedroom makeover, Jenny from the Virginia Beach store came to my place. West elm has free in-home design services you can take advantage of to help you create a beautiful space at home. Being the pro Jenny is, she instantly picked up on how much I love pink. She weaved in notes of it, while still keeping a lot of bedroom decor neutral. Y’all know I love white bedding, so this silk-wash quilt is the perfect base. Jenny showed me how to mix and match for the perfect nonchalant look, while still ensuring the room looks cohesive. We went with pink and white shams in the same silk as the quilt but also threw in different textures including this velvet and Mongolian fur. She also taught me how to insert pillows into cases. You fold them, insert and let them open inside, who knew?
I hope you enjoyed this post on my bedroom decor. I think bedrooms are one of the most important rooms in a home, so I hope this inspires you to make yours a place you love.
