Happy Monday Everyone!
It has been getting hotter and hotter and I’m working to keep cool in light fabrics. I spotted this gingham off the shoulder dress from SheIn and thought it would be perfect for summer. The off the shoulder look keeps me cool, even if it’s humid. Plus, I love the added effect of being able to get bronzed shoulders if you’re out in the sun. This is an incredibly budget-friendly option at less than $23 for the off the shoulder trend going on right now! The gingham print is very small, so from afar the dress looks like a nice gray, but closer up you can see the cute squares. I love the idea of wearing this for casual settings, including brunch or even picnics. The necklace has a nice ruffle, but the sleeves also have one of their own for that layered look, which I think is very chic. I would also double this dress up as a cover-up if you plan on heading to the pool or beach. It would look super cute with like-colored swimsuits and is easy to put on and take off. I’ve linked more off the shoulder dresses at affordable prices.
I also wanted to mention these incredible sandals I got from Target. They are fantastic dupes for the Valentino Rockstud sandals, but cost less than $25! Sizes are going incredibly fast, so if you like them be sure to snatch them up! I prefer my sandals to be a neutral tone, but these also come in black with gold studs as well. I’ve worn these sandals a couple times and they prove to be extremely comfortable. I don’t unbuckle the top clasp when I put the sandals on or take them off. That way there’s one less clasp to worry about.
