Hello, Everyone!
I turned 23 today, (YAY!) but the little girl inside of me still has a love for balloons some wouldn’t quite understand. I remember when I was a little girl, every time a family member went to MJ Designs and I was in tow, we couldn’t leave the store without a balloon. One time when I was really young, my sister got me a bright red one. However, when she was buckling me into my car seat, the balloon got away. I watched it fly up, up away into the sky, very sad I wouldn’t see it again. I only had it for 10 minutes. I will never ever understand how, but miraculously, a couple days later, I waddled outside of the apartment, my family lived in at the time to play, and there it was in the courtyard facing our unit door. There wasn’t very much helium in it and a good half of the string was touching the ground, but there was my red balloon. My love for balloons grew even bigger. Today, on my birthday, I wanted to remind everyone of the creativity and love we had as children. Don’t let the coldness of the world turn you bitter. Remain positive, as a good attitude can change anything. Thank you so so much for being on this journey with me. I love you all!
