Johnny and I are at the age where a lot of our friends are still spread out across the country. Of course, I’ve been living away from home for the past four years, which has been hard. Sending out Christmas cards is a fun way for us to stay in touch with our friends and let them know what we’re up to. Similar to last year’s cards, we love to base the look and feel with how we decorate our Christmas tree. This year’s tree has blue decorations. The first Christmas tree I decorated when I moved far away from home had blue, so I felt it was fitting to have blue for my last year away from family.

I’m working with minted to share how easy it is to order holiday cards and send them out. First, I filter the cards by color, then see which one will bet accentuate the photo Johnny and I want to use. I love the variety of real foil minted offers and how you can really personalize each card. I’m not going to lie, I have to get a little creative since Johnny and I aren’t husband and wife. We always rule out the cards featuring a last name or initials. However, minted gives us so many options. On the back, Johnny and I write a nice update to let our friends know what’s new. This year, we had a big announcement, which was great!

There is an option to get a customized stamp, too! This really takes the work out of the cards and once they arrive I can just stuff them and mail them out. The holidays can already be so stressful. Staying in touch with loved ones shouldn’t be stressful.
