It is said after the rain comes a rainbow and that’s how I feel about hiding a pop of color under my honey-colored trench. Austin really needs the rain as of late, so I appreciate it every time I see gray clouds popping up in the sky. After all, once the rain comes down and the clouds part, out comes the sun (and a little less drought).

I borrowed this artful, origami blood-orange dress from a friend and I adore how it jumps out under my neutral trench. The folds in the dress make it truly special and adds delicate details to a work staple for this future reporter.
