Happy Thursday, Everyone!
School work has been extremely stressful the past couple weeks so Jonathan is taking me out on a date tonight to relax. I usually try to cook and eat at home to save money, but indulging every once in a while is nice.

When I first got this dress, I was afraid the mint color would reserve this dress for spring and summer, but incorporating it with this dark, beautiful lapis necklace makes it appropriate for an evening out during early autumn.

Due to my desired profession, solid-color clothing is a must. Stripes, prints and small patterns don’t translate well on camera, so I stock up on great solid pieces when they come in vibrant colors. To elevate a solid dress, I like to add statement necklaces or belts to catch the eye and add detail to an otherwise “simple” piece.
