Whew! Today was the first day I could shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 and it was jam-packed! Dallas has a couple of Nordstrom stores, but I prefer North Park Center. Chase Cavin is a stylist there and has been a dream helping me pull items so I can quickly share my picks with you!

I’m so excited to share my new favorites from the sale. It’s fun to add items to a wishlist online and see the preview, but I love to help y’all solidify your choices with a try-on. Each year, I focus on high-quality items that will last a lifetime. Building a wardrobe doesn’t happen overnight and it’s more economical to take your time. This year I wanted to curate great wardrobe staples I can reach for and know you will too. I love this wool coatigan, cashmere & wool sweater, over-the-knee boots, tan booties and more.

It is best to shop online so you can easily get the size and color you want. I don’t recommend doing online ordering and in-store pickup because someone else in the store may pick up the item you want before a sales associate can pull it off the rack.

VINCE Wool Coatigan

This coatigan is the “it” coat of the sale and is selling out so fast. If you aren’t able to grab your size, I would try to grab one and see if you can exchange it for your size in the next few weeks. A merino wool blend, this is ultra-soft and the coziest thing you’ll probably ever wear. Love the oversized fit. Comes in three colors.

Allsaints Leather Jacket

I snagged the Dalby leather jacket last year (back in three beautiful colors this year) so I wanted to try on the Belfern this year. High-quality leather, great fit and will last a lifetime if you take care of it. I love how soft the leather is and it’s not stiff at all. Whether you wear it with jeans, dresses or skirts, this jacket sure to be a goodie.

Madewell Colorblock Cardigan

These are so popular every year. Madewell will come out with a fresh colorway or rework the colorblocking. If you already own one of these you can definitely skip. But if not, these are ultra-soft and great for fall layering!

Madewell Bobble Cardigan

If you want a cardigan with texture, this is it! I love the bobblehead details and one of my favorite sweaters from Madewell has bobbleheads all over the front. Comes in three colors. The fabric isn’t the softest, but has a chunky feel and great for fall. A reader says it does get softer with washes and holds up well, so take that into consideration!

VINCE Cashmere Blend Sweater

This sweater is unbelievably soft. I love how it feels and it’s the perfect weight for layering and year-round. It’s lightweight enough to wear now and warm enough to wear in the fall and winter. I love how it’s more elevated since you can wear to work on its own or under your favorite blazer. So glad I got this and it’s definitely a new favorite from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

Nike Sweatshirt & Faux-Leather Leggings

I saw this sweatshirt last year and wanted it. However, it wasn’t a priority item so I’m glad I waited until this year to make sure I really want it! I love the oversized fit. Soft, easy to throw on and add an extra layer.

Every year, faux-leather leggings are a hit. I’ve never been a fan of the Spanx ones. They feel cheap and I’ve heard from friends and readers the finish chips off. I’ve always preferred the Koral Lustrous Leggings since they are workout leggings, too! This year, Nike released a pair of faux-leather leggings and I had to try. I love! They are more compressive than the Koral leggings and feel like a dream.

I love the length and feel of this workout tank. It’s buttery soft and comes in a few colors. Great for throwing over a sports bra. Length is slightly cropped, but gives good coverage, especially with leggings!

Little Black Dress

I don’t typically wear black a lot, but I love the fit and construction of this dress. For less than $80, it’s perfect for workwear, business casual, date night and even weddings! It all depends on what accessories you pair it with. There are faux princess seams that really flatter your figure and the material is ultra stretchy. Hugs your figure without being too tight like bodycon.
