October is here, which also means so is cozy sweater weather! I love a crisp morning with a hot cup of coffee in hand. This gray sleeveless shawl is becoming a wardrobe staple I reach for when I’m unsure of how the weather is going to be. While sleeveless, the 100 percent acrylic fabric is cozy and keeps me warm. My sister and I got a little eager on this Charleston trip, so we packed a little bit of everything. Plus, weather can change, ha! This gray sleeveless shawl was perfect for cool mornings and evenings in Charleston, which hover around the mid-60s. However, it also works for the afternoons, which can reach the 80s. I love how the fabric flows and looks great over dresses, skirts and with jeans.

Underneath my shawl, I’m wearing a super versatile bodycon dress. I originally spotted this dress hanging in my local Nordstrom for $56. When a dress is available in plenty of colors, it’s popular! More than 800 online reviews rave about how flattering this dress is. I currently have two colors, burgundy and gray. In addition to being a great layering piece, this dress looks incredible on its own. Dress it up with earrings and heels and you are ready for a night out. However, this dress comes in six other colors, too! Not to mention, a long-sleeve version was just released for less than $60. I have my eye on the neutral beige and navy.
