Hello Everyone!
Today I wanted to share with you how to “fix” an ill-fitting dress. I originally bought this dress in a size 6 at H&M. I wanted it so badly, I rushed to have it altered by a tailor who wasn’t very good. End of story: she brought the waistline of the dress up too high and really botched the dress up. I took it to my regular experienced tailor, but she said nothing could be done unfortunately. To create the illusion of having the waistline where it should be, I used a thick belt to bring the line down.
Here, you can see how the dress truncates my torso because the waistline is too high up.
Voila! Now the waistline appears to be lower and the dress no longer shortens my torso.
Thank you for stopping by and reading!
