Mauve Super Soft Sweater Dress (wearing size US 2, also in gray), Gray Suede Booties
Black Sunglasses (similar), Chanel Bag (c/o of Trendlee), Tassel Earrings
I swear by sweater dresses in the fall and especially during winter. I think there’s something so feminine about wearing a sweater dress with boots. This mauve sweater dress with balloon sleeves is such a stunner. I love the high neck because you can layer cashmere tanks underneath for extra warmth. Plus, this sweater dress is super soft since it’s mostly acrylic fabric. The shift silhouette makes this dress easy and effortless to style. Just throw it on with booties or boots and you are good to go! I cannot recommend this dress enough, especially as temperatures start to dip. I’m wearing a size US 2 and this dress has a slightly oversized feel to it. I am thinking about maybe hemming it up an inch or two. That way I can wear it with over the knee boots! However, it’s also fine as it.
I wore this sweater dress on our first night in Charleston. Winds can get a little gusty in the evening, so this super soft sweater dress was perfect! Not too hot, not too cold. It’s an easy casual look that’s also put together. I paired it with my favorite gray suede booties, which also double as great walking shoes. We really enjoyed strolling along Rainbow Row. I’m pretty sure I stopped at every house to take pictures because everything is so beautiful. Other tourists and locals probably made fun of me, but hey, anything for the ‘gram! I also really enjoyed the houses on East Battery. Many of them are still boarded up from the Hurricane, but beautiful none the less. I’ll talk more about my favorite places in Charleston next week in my travel guide!
