Pink Hoop Earrings c/o, Too Faced Lipstick (shade Chihuahua)[/outfit_details]
Happy Monday Y’all! I’ve been living in Coastal Virginia for almost two years now and I find new places and unique details every day. Ghent is a neighborhood in Norfolk famous for its charm and historic homes. It’s also the “hip” part of Norfolk, complete with great restaurants, coffee shops and easily navigable by biking or walking. Of course, some of the historic homes are beautiful (and expensive). How cute is this little row of homes just a walk away from the Chrysler Museum? It reminds me of a mini Rainbow Row in Charleston!
As flowers start to bloom and plants start to grow during spring, I love wearing white dresses because they just pop. This white talisman dress takes details to a whole new level. There are ladder cut-outs through the dress made with metallic thread trim. They are across the décolleté area, at the bottom of the short sleeves and then three times on the flared skirt. This dress is fully lined, which is great. Plus, this fabric feels like a dream, so it’s perfect for spring. Also, the back of this white talisman dress has a really fun, and kind of large, cut-out in a nice triangle shape. The silhouette of this dress is very flattering and definitely helps elongate petite ladies. This would be such a cute dress if you’re a bride for a bridal shower or engagement party, too!
Another thing I love about white dresses is how easy they are to style. The possibilities are endless when it comes to accessories. I’m currently swooning over these perforated wedges but colored heels would also look fabulous with this dress! Of course, you can throw on a pair of fun earrings in a cute color, such as the pink sequin ones I’m wearing here, to give another pop of color, too.
