Happy Hump Day, everyone!

One of my favorite things about clothing is the secret each piece holds. I adore the tiny beaded embellishments this dress has – adding a bit of uniqueness to an otherwise normal floral-patterned dress. Since it’s winter, I’m pairing it with some fun tights to keep me warm, but during warmer months, I’m not afraid to show some skin.

During pageants, I’ve often been asked the question about whether I think social media can be an advantage or disadvantage. I’ve always thought of it as an advantage. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the like bring us together in this big world we live in. We become exposed to things we wouldn’t otherwise be and in turn, we can fall in love with something we never thought we would.

On Saturday, December 14, 2013 a dear bunny named Rambo passed away. It’s hard for me to put into words how I feel about Rambo. Since coming across his picture on Instagram’s popular page months ago I have fallen in love with him. Him and his older brother Eddy hace captured my heart with their charm and every morning when I wake up, I look at his pictures his Mama posts. Throughout the day whenever I need a pick-me-up, I’d visit BunnyMama’s instagram and instantly feel better. It’s incredible how connected I feel to a bunny I’ve never met in person, but I truly feel like he’s a part of my life because he is. My boyfriend and I have watched him struggle with health complications for a couple months now and we prayed for him every night. Rambo is now in a happier place.
