How to Style Sneakers Look: Lilac Blazer, White Peplum Tee, Busted Knee Jeans
Adidas Courtset Sneakers c/o DSW, Olive + Piper Pearl Hoop Earrings c/o,
Happy Wednesday Y’all! It’s no surprise I love sneakers. Like, I love sneakers. I know it can be easy to style them with athletic clothes. Athleisure is a full-blown look nowadays. However, styling them without can be tricky, so I’m sharing some of my tricks on how to style sneakers for every-day life! There will be times where you want to wear comfortable shoes, but can’t wear athletic clothes. That’s where looks such as this one come in handy!
First off, the kind of sneakers you choose is important. I love these Adidas Courtset sneakers because of the suede upper. It’s a classic sneaker and the suede adds a touch of chic. Plus, the round toe and padded sole make this great for walking. I have the lilac color, which is perfect year round. They come with two pairs of laces, matching lilac and white, but I prefer the former. Also, I prefer to tuck my laces inside for a cleaner look.
I love to pick matching colors when I’m styling my sneakers. This lilac blazer is basically a dead match for my Adidas Courtset sneakers. Since the weather can’t make up its mind, I’m using it as a nice layer to keep the chill off my arms. Simple is sometimes best, which is why I’m going for the classic combo: jeans and a white tee. Little details like the lace peplum on this white tee help make the outfit pop. Plus, the distressed jeans give this outfit more of a casual vibe. Overall, this is a look that’s easy to recreate and goes well with sneakers. Another option would be a casual romper, including this off-the-shoulder one. Since it’s chambray, it’ll pair well with anything, especially these lilac sneakers!
I hope this post helps you with how to style your sneakers. P.S. these sneakers come in a bunch of colors, so you’re sure to find the perfect shade to fit with everything you have in your current wardrobe!
