Hello My Beautiful Friends!
Johnny and I have had lots of fun exploring the Hampton Roads area. We discovered a beautiful bridge near Ghent and it was a beautiful spot for a nice walk. Johnny and I are pretty simple when it comes to our dates. After more than six years of being together, we don’t really need something elaborate. A nice walk somewhere picturesque with charm and eating delicious food always hits the spot for us. Speaking of, Omar’s Carriage House off Bute Street is the perfect place for Sunday brunch! I had this yummy eggs benedict!
I’ve been stepping up my game as far as casual pieces and this tassel playsuit is one of favorites. I fell in love with it once I saw it on Instagram. However, I was very nervous since I am extremely lacking in the chest department. While it would look better if I filled it out more, I still enjoy the way it fits and this would be incredible as a swimsuit cover up, especially over this romantic palm print bikini (stay tuned for photos soon). Sabo Skirt has plenty of cute playsuits including a cute crochet style, striped off the shoulder style and more.
Over on Johnny’s side, he told me he really likes this linen button-down. The fabric holds its structure, but is still soft and very lightweight. Johnny’s got quite a bit of muscle, so temperature wise he’s always a lot warmer. He said this shirt didn’t feel stuffy and he felt decently cool in it. Also because of the linen makeup, this shirt washes and dries easily. You could iron or steam it out if you’d like, but since this is for casual wear, Johnny prefers the lived in feel.
