Hello My Beautiful Friends!
This post is focused on his & her’s special occasion style. As Johnny and I get older, we find ourselves going to more events where we need to dress up. Not that we don’t already do it randomly on dates 😉 Johnny loves being an entrepreneur because he can wear t-shirts and casual button-downs daily, but he still enjoys dressing up and looking “Fly AF” haha!
I purchased this dress during Black Friday sales and it has served as a special occasion staple for me. I grabbed the 00. I wore it to watch Miss Universe in Vegas, multiple dinner dates, cocktail parties, you name it, I’ve probably worn this dress there! (weddings are the exception of course) I love the fit of this dress as it really accentuates my curves and the stretchy fabric is extremely comfortable. This dress is a steal at its sale price of $53.  I really like wearing colored shoes with all white or black outfits to add a pop of color. I’ve gotten a lot of wear out of these chambray suede heels and they’re currently 40% off!

As mentioned in earlier posts, it is very difficult to find suits to fit Johnny’s broad shoulders. We’ve been so frustrated and were almost about to get a completely custom suit when I discovered the Crosby suit at J.Crew. It was life-changing. We both walked in and I saw the catalog in the suit section. Johnny pointed to the man on the cover and said, “That’s me!” Then I opened the catalog to a page of five or more men wearing the suits. “They’re all mes!” Johnny exclaimed happily. He had a huge smile on his face. His fitting was effortless. A sales associate grabbed him a jacket and a pair of pants and it fit his shoulder perfectly. He did require further alterations to slim in the waist of the jacket and of course, hem his pants, but we saved a lot of money in the end. Now, when we have to put on our special occasion style outfits, Johnny feels confident and comfortable.
