Hi My Beautiful Friends!
I wanted to share another his and her’s look. I will be honest, Johnny doesn’t style himself. He is a pretty big hustler and is always and I mean always working, so I have to set his closet up in a way he can just grab items blindly and throw them on for every day. He does enjoy getting dressed up and looking dashing, don’t get me wrong, but usually saves that for special occasions. You may have noticed Johnny has a really big build, so finding clothes is a challenge. Jeans have been an issue for him for the past few years. All of the jeans he’s worn (7FAM, Hudson) have ripped in the crotch and thigh area. We recently got a pair of Nudie Jeans and so far Johnny really likes them. No holes yet! 😉
For this casual date night look, I dressed down this curve-accentuating dress (on sale for $38!) with espadrilles, but sneakers like this pair would work great too! I love the knotted detailing, and the asymmetrical hem really lengthens the body. The faux-wrap is comfortable and makes this dress easy to wear. I definitely plan on dressing it up as well. This dress always comes in a versatile light gray.
For Johnny, we went with the fail-proof Chambray shirt and brown shoes with his dark denim since it’s a casual date night. His shoulders are starting to prove to be an issue for shirt buying. He has exceptionally wide shoulders for a guy his height, so we might have to start hemming his shirts if he continues to make gains at the gym. However, as with my wardrobe, we don’t mind making the investment for staple wardrobe pieces. I also snagged these linen shirts from J.Crew (25% off w/ code SUMMER)  for Johnny and he says he loves the fit, fabric and feel of them, so he wears them multiple times a week.
