Since the months before summer officially arrive can bring fickle weather, a transition jacket is key. I usually like to turn toward leather or softer fabrics. This drape leather jacket is something I reach for frequently since it goes over dresses so well. I love the length, 20.5 inches long because it does not shrink my frame. If you choose to wear a short jacket with dresses, be sure they do not go past the hip too much since it’ll make you shorter. I love how buttery soft this faux leather is. The underside of the sleeves feature ribbed sleeve panels, which add extra stretch. This drape leather jacket also comes in countless colors. There is a crisp white, light beige, blush, toffee and classic black in addition to the army green I’m sporting here.

I love the idea of a monochrome look or wearing layers in the same color family. I am mixing different shades of green here and I really like how it turned out. Picking clothes from the same color family is an effortless way to look chic and pulled together. Your outfit will look like you put in a lot of effort, but in reality, it did not.
