Yay! It’s Saturday! This has been an extremely eventful week at UT, so I decided to celebrate the end of my week by wearing a vivacious outfit to match my mood!
Contrary to popular belief, news networks are all about bright colors, so I’m not trapped in a corporate world wearing navy blue and black for the rest of my life. When I saw these pants at Ann Taylor, I knew I had to get them, even if the 00P was too big!
I have been incorporating these reversible necklace into so many of my outfits lately! When I was younger, I didn’t like mixing blue and pink together, but now I’m much more comfortable with it. The turquoise contrasts beautifully with the pastel pink in this peplum top and transitions nicely into my bright fuchsia ankle pants.
Aren’t these peep-toe pumps fun? When I first bought them five years ago, I wasn’t too sure how to get a lot of wear out of them. Now, I find they can go with more outfits than I thought. These pumps work great with a neutral outfit or all black.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you have a wonderful weekend. This is actually a very sad weekend for me. April 30, 1975 is the day Vietnam completely fell into Communist hands. More than half a million Vietnamese have lost their lives trying to escape Vietnam by boat, more than 300,000 South Vietnamese soldiers have died fighting for freedom, and most importantly more than 58,000 American troops made the ultimate sacrifice for my country’s effort to remain free. I feel extremely blessed to live here in America where I am free to pursue my dreams of becoming a news anchor with the power to shed light on unknown stories.
