Happy Monday everyone! As many of you may know, I wear dresses 90 percent of the time at work. They are easy, low maintenance and I don’t have to worry about mixing and matching tops and bottoms. I usually wear solids, but this floral work dress from Of Mercer is a stunner. The reason I think this dress is particularly TV friendly is the print isn’t too small. It’s not overly distracting or can “move” like thin stripes. When it comes to work dresses, I like conservative silhouettes with unique details. Since I rarely really know what story I’ll be reporting on, I prefer to air on the safe side in case I’m assigned something very serious. While this floral print is fresh, it isn’t overly bright or cheery, so it’s perfect for the office.

Fit wise, this dress fits me like a glove. Plus, this dress is made of an ultra stretchy fabric, which is why it really hugs the body. This gives it a super flattering fit, perfect for all body types! It has a nice cool feel too, which is perfect for the summer heat and humidity. I’m 5’3, so the hem hits me right at the knee. There is a vent in the back for added movement. What I love about Of Mercer’s dresses is you can wear it after work, too. Swap out classic pumps for strappy heels, throw on a red lip and this floral work dress is ready for drinks.
