River Island Embroidered Top & Gray Coat c/o, Black Skinny Pants c/o,
Suede Over the Knee Boots (similar), Prada Tote (similar), Red Drop Earrings c/o
Happy FriYay! It’s so unreal Thanksgiving is less than a week away! I love to wear darker colors when the temperatures get colder. I’m partnering up with River Island to share a look you can wear from day to night. We all tend to be so busy during the holidays, so changing after work to attend a function may not be possible. That’s why I love this embroidered top. It’s appropriate for work with its high neckline and classic fit. However, the red embroidery also say “party” and will fit in at holiday parties. I’m wearing a petite size 2, which fits perfectly. The slight flare at the bottom makes this top extra flattering. Plus, it also lets you eat as much as you want without having to worry about food babies, ha!
This coat is getting a lot of love on my Instagram, so I figured I’d give my review. First of all, this coat looks stunning on. It’s elegant, chic and elongates you. Initially, I was concerned about the length. However, it hits me just right and I look so tall when I wear it, especially with boots! The fabric is very soft and almost silky, not itchy at all. Plus, it is so so warm, which I love! This coat is perfect to throw over your work outfits for holiday dresses. The lapel is what gives this coat its elegant feel, while the wrap silhouette ties it all together. The side slip pockets are plenty roomy and will keep your hands warm on chilly nights. I’m wearing a size 2 and there’s room for thicker sweaters underneath. This coat also comes in camel and a gorgeous dark red.
