Hello Everyone! We had a warm spurt in Virginia, so Johnny and I decided to dress up and go to date night. We are enjoying discovering new eats in Hampton Roads. It feels like there are so many places to try, but sometimes we are drawn to our favorites. We really do need to expand and try new places while we are here.

When Johnny and I decide to go fancy, I love wearing an elegant dress and heels. This brocade dress by Carmen Marc Valvo is the epitome of elegance. I love the hints of bright blue amid the burgundy red. It lightens up the dress, but isn’t too busy. Y’all know I have a preference for dresses with pockets and this dress comes through on that. The sheath silhouette is flattering and I’m enjoying the longer length on this dress. I feel so sophisticated and regal with the longer length, but I still realize it doesn’t flatter my petite frame all too well.
