Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays. I’m reminded of the freedom my family immigrated here for from communist Vietnam. I feel so fortunate to have been born in the United States and be able to call it my home. This year is extra special because it’s the first time we’re celebrating with our daughter, the second generation. Ahead of the holiday, I thought it’d be fun to put together some cute 4th of July outfits for whatever you have planned. I know we will be enjoying all the precious newborn snuggles!
This swimsuit has fun cutouts and is the most beautiful blue. If you look closely, you’ll see that it actually has some shimmer and a crinkle texture to it. One size fits most! Adding the overalls as a coverup really helps create this cute 4th of July outfit. The price is also fantastic. These earrings by my absolute favorite jewelry brand are a super fun touch. A zipped crossbody like this is a great option if you’ll be on a lake or by a pool. It’s lightweight, easy to keep close and very chic. White sneakers are a staple, and these sunglasses provide plenty of coverage in a versatile tortoiseshell color.
I loved both the two piece set and romper so much, I couldn’t decide! The versatility of a set is an amazing value. Also, the cotton and linen blend is super breezy. The chambray romper is just as breezy though. Sashes are great too because they help emphasize the waistline. Either of these could be paired with the accessories: weightless statement earrings in a fun shape, a woven crossbody with white embroidery, a textured knot headband and the classic sandals I’ve had in my closet for years.
I know many people who have worn the Nap Dress while pregnant and nursing. This red and white stripe is the epitome of a cute 4th of July outfit and the breathable poplin is perfect for summer! These braided heels continue to be my go tos, and this bag elevates the look further. The lightweight crystal earrings and white bow are the perfect finishing touches!
