Kate Spade Floral Dress (also on Rent the Runway), Christian Louboutin Heels (similar)

I hope y’all aren’t tired of seeing Charleston in these fashion posts because I have one left! I packed extra outfits because of how picturesque everything is. This Kate Spade floral dress with pockets is one of my favorite dresses, ever. Typically, I am not a fan of full skirts, but I couldn’t resist this one! The rose pattern is beautiful with mixes of reds and pinks. Personally, I feel like the black color-blocking really tones this dress down and makes it easier to wear outside of special occasions. If you are heading to a wedding this fall, I highly recommend this dress. I wore this dress for both work, reporting was so easy with the pockets, and for a cocktail dinner. Plus, I threw on my Chanel espadrilles for walking around South of Broad in Charleston in this dress and for a more casual look.
Fit wise, I’m wearing a size 0, which fits perfectly. The fit and flare silhouette on this floral dress is great for those who may have wider set hips, too. The length is just right for my 5’3 frame and isn’t too short, even when I’m sitting down. I recommend wearing a racer-back style bra or going strapless since regular bra straps will poke out the sides. That’s never a good look. Also, the arm holes don’t sit too low, which is great for petite ladies! I do want to mention these pockets are quite roomy. I can easily fit two iPhone 7s in each one along with my cardholder and keys in the other. Plus, with the full skirt, you won’t actually “see” the items once they are tucked away.
Y’all may recall these stairs from a post last week. These are literally the stairs of my dreams and I need to find some way to get these in my future home! The shrubs are beautiful and really set off how crisp and clean the white marble is. Plus, they frame the stairs perfectly. Be sure to check back Thursday for my Charleston travel guide, which includes the location of these dreamy stairs and all my recommendations!
