Instagram Round-Up :: March 2019

Hi Y’all! My apologies on how delayed this Instagram round-up is! We’ve been running, running and running in March. This past month had a lot of great highlights, including my top launch with Gibson, going to SXSW, my first visit to Palm Springs and witnessing a close friend marry the love of her life in Las Vegas! Johnny and I definitely had a packed month. I want to share some of the most-loved pieces on Instagram and the LTK app. I know I’m a few days late with this Instagram round-up but things have been so hectic. There’s quite a bit of color in this month’s edition. Thankfully, Spring started to show her colors, so I whipped out mine as well!

VICI Vibes :: Palm Springs Coachella-Inspired Outfits

Many people know of Palm Springs because of Coachella, so it’s no surprise Vici is featuring Coachella-inspired outfits. While my style is very classic and feminine, it’s always fun to branch out. I love being able to step out of my comfort zone every once in a while and doing it with Vici was a blast! The California-based boutique flew me out to Palm Springs for this shoot and I’m very excited to share all the looks with you!

Four Ways to To Be More Confident

Confidence is key. We’ve heard these saying many times before. “Oh, just be confident and it’ll work out.” Or perhaps something like, “My confidence got me through it.” But where does that confidence come from? How do we get it? This might come as a surprise but I used to be an incredibly shy young girl. But if I did something, I was confident in my abilities. I want to share four ways to be more confident and I hope this helps you hold your head up high and put some pep in your step. Some of these came to me from more than a decade of figure skating, my time competing in pageants and of course, the time I’ve been working as an adult. I’m still young and have a lot to learn but I hope these will help you.

When it comes to spring and summer, I’m a big fan of color and bold prints. However, these looks can be hard to pull off. I’m sharing my favorite ways for how to wear bold prints for spring and with these three tips, you can nail any bold look! One of my favorite colors to wear is pink and red. They both stand out and with so many different shades, you’re sure to find the one that’s right for you. For this particular look, I’m going with a chic office look featuring bold prints. I’m a big believer you don’t have to sacrifice style and personality for office wear. There’s nothing wrong with standing out in a good way! Plus, it’s good to show some personality with your clothes.

Styling One Top Two Ways for Work

The response to the Gibson x International Women’s Day collaboration has been incredible! I’m so overwhelmed by your kind words on the launch of my top at Nordstrom. Today, I want to share how to style my blogger babe Roselyn’s top she designed. It’s a feminine blouse with a smock waist. I love the ruffles along the v-neck and darling buttons. Roselyn and I are wearing the lavender color but it also comes in a bright pink floral! What I love about the solid lavender is how it’s perfect for work. One thing I had in mind when designing my top is its versatility. Roselyn’s top is no exception and I want to share my tips for styling one top two ways for work.
