As someone who spends a lot of time at home and happens to live in Texas, I wear a lot of summer casual outfits. They need to be lightweight and comfortable while also very much my style. I imagine this trend will be even more important as I continue to embrace my new role as a Mom! Because we’re exactly two weeks away from June, I wanted to put together some inspiration for both you and myself.

White dresses are classic, and the smocking, puff sleeves, and tiered skirt on this lightweight one are whimsical and feminine – and so is this pearl bow clip. I love the braided straps on these sandals, as well as the block heels that comfortably elevate the look. The acrylic earrings lend a modern touch and the canvas tote is great for summer.

I absolutely adore every iteration of Abercrombie & Fitch’s best selling floral pattern, from midi dresses to this green romper. The woven rhinestone sandals add some more dynamic texture to the outfit. What makes this Marc Jacobs bag so fantastic is its chic neutral leather and size that fits all the essentials. You know I consider an outfit incomplete without jewelry, and this pearl and chain bracelet paired with these crystal earrings from one of my favorite brands bring out the sparkle and summery feel of the look.

I love how casual summer outfits can easily become more dressed up with a traditional black hair bow, double huggie earrings and/or structured handbag. A top like this one is just as wearable as your favorite t-shirt but more intentional, due to the white seersucker fabric and ruffled details. These denim shorts are the BEST – they’re so soft and flattering, and worth every penny (find more of my favorite denim here). A great pair of sneakers are a must, like these timeless Vejas in black and white leather.
