Happy Hump Day!
Some spring days tend to be cooler than others and for those days, I love throwing on a pretty tunic and distressed denim. I stumbled across this lovely tunic in the Juniors department at Nordstrom. The beautiful lace edge bell sleeves and the soft fabric caught my eye. I can assure you, this top isn’t just for juniors. The color is a light cream, which is elegant and works well for women of any age. This would be a great option for brunch, a more casual work environment or just out running errands. I didn’t have to be too careful with the lace edge and it seemed pretty durable.

Mother’s Day is this weekend, so I wanted to share some of my favorite gifts if you’re still on the hunt to get something for the strongest woman in your life. Over the weekend, I splurged on my Mom and decided to get her the La Mer Moisturizing Soft Cream. My Mom has gone through a lot this past year with my Dad’s fall and hospitalization and now to taking care of him daily. I know she doesn’t really have time for herself anymore, so her five minutes in the morning and at night when she washes her face and puts on her moisturizer are all she has. La Mer is known for its hefty price tag, but after trying this cream on the back of my hand I knew I had to get it for my Mom. After all, she’s spent so much more on me growing up, it was the least I could do for her. If you want to give your Mom some La Mer, Nordstrom has a lovely gift set at a more affordable price tag.
