My lips are the most prominent feature on my face and I’ve always done my best to take care of them. It’s quite noticeable if I don’t! Though I tend to lean toward a matte look for my everyday, I really love how moisturizing lip gloss can be. Many of the best lip glosses are actually packed with ingredients that also soothe, plump and more. When you wear them enough, you’ll notice the benefits even when your lips are bare! These are my current favorites.
Tom Ford Gloss Luxe Lip Gloss
I absolutely love everything about this lip gloss. It’s infused with tons hydrating ingredients that leave your lips incredibly soft and moisturized. The formula is lightweight and not at all sticky. Although it’s expensive, for the shine, color and longevity, I do think this gloss is worth it.
Lawless Forget The Filler Lip Plumping Line Smoothing Gloss
This plumping gloss is SO smooth and shiny! I’m quite impressed with the plush applicator that makes applying the gloss feel super luxurious. I always want to mention that the vial is bigger to accommodate the applicator and you may not get as much product as you expect.
Westman Atelier Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm
I’m amazed by how pigmented this clean, hydrating lip balm is. My favorite shade is Nana, which is a cool beige, and it really shows up. It’s also very long-wearing with high shine!
Clarins Lip Comfort Hydrating Oil
I adore how soft and hydrating lip oils like this are. The tint is more subtle than some of the other best lip glosses here, which I actually think is great for a more natural, casual look. The applicator feels luxurious on my lips, which I also adore!
Fenty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer
This lip gloss has an impressive amount of shimmer and shine in a well curated assortment of colors. Note the formula can be a touch tacky on some, but the scent is very pleasant!
Dior Lip Glow Oil
Dior’s lip oil is truly wonderful. It’s amazing at protecting and moisturizing the lips, and I love the vanilla and mint scent! One of my favorite features is how even within each shade, the color shows up differently depending on the moisture level of your lips.
City Lips
Though my lips don’t necessarily need any plumping, as I get older and produce less collagen, I appreciate how this kind of lip gloss fills in the wrinkles. It’s also soothing and hydrating, which is always a win!
