I love winter but I can definitely understand if you find yourself in a style rut. A lot of people tend to gravitate toward neutrals during winter. Blacks, whites, grays and creams tend to rule during cold months. However, I’m partnering with Sole Society to share one way to avoid this style rut: adding color to your winter outfit ideas. This sweater dress is one of my favorites. It’s incredibly warm because it’s merino wool. However, it can get a little boring. The first pop of color you can add to a winter look is with a scarf. I love this exotic one because of the pink and orange stripes. When it comes to adding color to winter outfit ideas, don’t be afraid of overdoing it. If there is a neutral foundation, go for it!
The warm tones in the scarf actually inspired me for the rest of the accessories. This cognac vegan leather backpack is a fun way to carry what you need but keep your hands free. It’ll be great for days when you’ll be out and about, running around finishing errands or have a million things on your to-do list. One aspect I love about this backpack is its size. Not too big where it’s overwhelming, especially on a petite frame. However, all of your essentials and maybe a few extras will fit right in. If the cognac isn’t your cup of tea, it also comes in linen and black.
My final pop of color is this pair of pink booties. They also come in a beautiful dusty blue, but I’m partial to pink. These booties are very comfortable and the stacked heel almost feels like sneakers. These booties are perfect for adding color to your winter outfit ideas. However, they will also transition beautifully into spring. These booties do have small cutouts, which I think are so flattering. I hope this post inspires you to incorporate color into your winter looks. Don’t shy away from being vibrant!
