Pink on Pink: Off the Shoulder Top (also in chambray + blue/green gingham)
Bow Tie Shorts (also in mini floral), Suede Sandals, Tortoise Shell sunnies, Watch Band, Tassel Earrings c/o, Blush Saint Laurent Sac de Jour from Trendlee
Hi My Beautiful Friends! Lately, I am on a big pink kick. When I was younger, I actually hated the color. Funny how things change as we grow older, huh? I want to share how to pull off a monochromatic look with tips you can use all year long. My pink on pink look consists of three shades of pink. I find what really pulls the look together is when the shades are both very different from each other and different textures. From the top to the shorts, to the bag!
First off, my outfit begins with these bow tie shorts. They are definitely the statement piece of the outfit with their bright color and over-the-top bow! While they are a statement piece, you can easily restyle for both casual and dressy looks. Also, I will mention these require a good steam or iron session before wearing. These shorts are the base of my pink on pink look.
Since the shorts are a very rich shade of pink, the next color needs to be pale and not as opaque. I love how darling this light pink off the shoulder top is. Plus, it has little bow ties on the sleeves, which tie in with the bow tie shorts. Finally, I wanted to go with a very light color for my bag, so this blush pink Saint Laurent Sac de Jour from Trendlee was perfect.
