Hello My Beautiful Friends! Johnny and I are in love with watching Supergirl right now. We have a thing for superhero movies and TV shows, namely Arrow, The Flash and anything DC or Marvel. I did not start watching Supergirl until a few months ago, but now Johnny and I are hooked. When I first put this dress on, I could not help but feel like Supergirl for some odd reason. I cannot even begin to picture Kara Danvers in this blush backless cape dress, nor would I want this to be my superhero outfit (I envision something more along Black Canary lines), but I felt powerful and confident.

I’m a big believer in choosing and wearing clothes that make you feel like a better version of yourself. Y’all know I love a good power dress, so this is the equivalent for date night. This blush backless cape dress initially caught my eye online. Firstly, I love the billowy and soft feel of the cape. Plus, an aspect I really enjoy is how the front is very modest, but the back is completely open. Can you say business in the front, party in the back? If you haven’t seen my boomerang in this dress, it really depicts how this dress moves. The back of this dress reminds me of how Supergirl’s cape drapes behind her and makes me feel like I can do anything. Well, okay maybe not anything.

This backless cape dress does run a dash small. I’m wearing an XS here and it fits me like a glove. If you are between sizes, I highly recommend sizing up. While I am partial to blush, this dress also comes in white, black, burgundy and teal.
