I’m working on transitioning into fall with some clothes, but since I live by a beach and it’s still warm, I’m having difficulties. You’ll be catching me in some summer clothes for a while 😉
I love chambray and I feel like the darker shades are great as the temps start to cool. This chambray off the shoulder dress from Anthropologie is trendy and classic at the same time. The off the shoulder ruffles fit in with what seemed to be this year’s favorite neckline while chambray fabric is such a classic and should be a staple in everyone’s wardrobe. I love the shift almost swing-like silhouette of this dress, which makes the dress very comfortable and effortless to wear. The neckline on this chambray off the shoulder dress fits a little loose on me and I’m wearing a Size 0P here, so size down accordingly. An unexpected detail I love on this dress are the side seam pockets. You all know pockets instantly bump a dress up in likeness factor for me and these were quite roomy.
I’m wearing some of my favorite lace-up sandals here, which are on sale for 40% off right now. As we move toward fall, I can see myself wearing them with my gray fringe booties from last year. Here’s the same pair without the fringe. I love how these are lower set, so they elongate the legs. If you’re taking this dress somewhere fancy, a pair of lace-up flats would be great in almost any shade. I have these in nude and am keeping my eyes on the black pair for winter.
