I love shopping at Revolve for fun trendier pieces and when I saw this Tularosa smock dress I knew I had to have it. I love polka dots and am a big believer you can never have enough. While I usually prefer to stick to smaller dots, these bigger dots worked great because of the soft fabric, which flows beautifully. I’m wearing an XS here and it fits me perfectly. However the reviews on multiple sites and a few fellow bloggers say it runs short, so if you’re taller than 5’5 you might want to size up. For reference, I’m 5’3 and had no issues with the hemline. It could have been a little shorter, but I was happy with the length.
Another great option is to wear it with white or light blue denim if you’re on the taller side and want to stick to your regular sizing. I love the lower cut sleeves and spaghetti straps, which gives the dress an effortless vibe. This dress would also make a fantastic coverup, even if it runs short. It’s sold out on Revolve, but still available in all sizes on Asos (plus $1 cheaper) and XS and Medium on Shopbop.
Since the dress is the statement piece of the outfit, I chose neutral colored heels, crossbody bag and jewelry. You may know I am a huge Kendra Scott fan and her summer collection is gorgeous. I have the classic Elle earrings in a bajillion colors, but these Brenden earrings are unique because they are full metal and have filigree detailing. You can definitely see the French influence in this collection. I love these because they are a lighter alternative to the ivory pearl and gold Deva earrings from a previous collection.
