When designing our living room, the first piece we picked out was our beloved Arhaus Beale sofa. It was the perfect choice for us, and at the same time I knew we needed more seating. We took a trip to our local Arhaus store to look at chairs and never thought we’d pick a recliner! Johnny spotted the Rowland Leather Armless Motion Recliner and jokingly sat down on it, then remarked how comfortable it was. I wasn’t convinced, but sat on it myself anyway. Wow. As someone with a broken tailbone, I couldn’t believe it didn’t give me any extra pain. In fact, it was more like a warm hug! I was sold and we added it to our living room design immediately. Stylish recliners can be difficult to come by, even more so ones that are this enjoyable.

Fast forward 18 months and this recliner is the most popular seat in the house! Everyone wants to sit on it. We decided to add a battery pack to it to eliminate any cords that can be trip hazards, which I highly recommend. The leather has aged incredibly well and I’m always able to get stains and spots out with Folex. I just wish we had room for one more!

Like I mentioned before, it’s hard to find truly stylish recliners. Knowing how much you all love ours as much as we do, I wanted to curate a few options that are equally aesthetically pleasing and at different prices! First, there’s a few different versions of the Rowland recliner. Ours is the regular armless one, then there’s also a high-back armless one and a high-back one with arms. If you want a similar look for cheaper, this one has a more mid-century modern look while I love the traditional nailhead trim on this one! Finally, there’s this blue tufted option that doesn’t look at all like a recliner and even swivels!
