Have y’all seen Crazy Rich Asians, yet? If you haven’t, you’re missing out and I couldn’t recommend this hilarious romantic comedy more! Plus, it was so nice to see an all-Asian cast. The reason I mention the movie is these floral wide-leg silk pants make me feel like a Crazy Rich Asian! Don’t be too concerned, for silk pants these come at an attainable price point. When I first saw these wide-leg pants online, I knew I had to have them. These pants are part of a collaboration between J.Crew and famous wallpaper designer Abigail Borg. She is known for her quirky, hand-drawn florals. Of course, this collection has me swooning. The floral prints are whimsical and elegant. I actually got two pieces from this collection: these floral wide-leg silk pants and a shirt dress with pockets (blog post on this coming soon!).
From the moment I pulled these pants out of the bag, I knew it was meant to be. Plus, the silk feels so incredible against the skin and looks exquisite in person. Pictures really don’t do them justice. These silk wide-leg pants come with a tie-waist. I’m tying the sash on the side here but can easily see myself tying the bow in the front or back, too. This print is a mix of beautiful jade, blue, light purple and pink tones. It’s truly stunning. Also, I feel like a million dollars wearing them. These do not come in petite sizing, however, the 00 fits me perfectly. There isn’t any gaping at the waist and I have enough room to tuck in shirts or blouses. The length of these silk wide-leg pants hit at my ankle, which I don’t mind at all. To give these pants a more casual look, I’m styling them with a white t-shirt and some teal feather earrings. However, I plan on doing a post dressing these pants up soon!
