Happy Monday, y’all! I can’t believe July is already here. I love finding fun tops for summer and this pink crochet cropped top is no exception. As a petite gal, I love the cropped silhouette because it fits me perfectly. The boho style crochet is fun and romantic, which is perfect for summer. I can definitely see the quality in the crochet. Some of the patterns in the crochet are so feminine, I can’t help but swoon. This crochet cropped top has a bit of a flare to it, which is super flattering. Plus, I just think about how I can wear it to lunches and dinners and eat all I want, ha! While this top has straps, I highly recommend wearing a strapless bra since the crochet is see-through in the straps. However, this top is lined through the chest so that’s a plus.

Hydrangeas aren’t my favorite flower but I do absolutely love them. So many people grow them here in Coastal Virginia and it’s so beautiful to walk through a neighborhood and see the bushes bursting with color. These photos were snapped in the Freemason District of Norfolk along Bute Street. There are a few homes with the most plentiful bushes. Some condos in downtown Norfolk have hydrangeas, too! If you are in Virginia Beach, the homes in the North End neighborhood have lots of gorgeous hydrangeas as well. I have to keep myself from wanting to snip a few for myself and take them home! I’m determined to grow my own peonies and hydrangeas when I have my own home one day. Not quite sure how well they’ll fare in the Texas heat, which is where I ultimately want to end up but I might as well try, right?!
