River Island Balloon Sleeve Dress c/o, Gold Tone Booties c/o (also in green)
Chanel Bag (similar), Pearl Earrings c/o, Paul Hewitt Watch, Too Faced Lips
Happy November 1st! It’s no surprise I love sweater dresses, so I’m acquiring more and more. This River Island balloon sleeve dress comes in the most beautiful gold color. Mostly acrylic, this knit is a medium weight fabric and can keep you warm on crisp days. It’s cozy and soft to the touch, not itchy or uncomfortable. Of course, the balloon sleeves are my favorite detail on this dress. It adds a whimsical touch while being understated. Another detail I love is the inverted seam detailing throughout this balloon sleeve dress. It’s simple but really helps make the dress pop and gives it texture. When I was younger, I hated turtlenecks. I’m not quite sure what it was about them. Needless to say, I have grown out of that. Sometimes, scarves get in the way if it’s super windy, so high necks keep me warm.
These gold-tone booties are my new favorite. The block heel outlined with gold really pop and make a statement. Plus, block heels are more comfortable and easy to walk in. You don’t have to worry about stepping on cracks and such. Booties are one of my favorite fall pieces and these will be perfect for work. The gold detailing and simple silhouette make this boot dressy, so you can wear it with dresses or to the office.I can easily imagine these with black leggings and a chic blouse. I’m wearing a size 5 and they fit perfectly even though I’m usually a 5.5. There is even room for warm socks if I need, too. So far, I don’t have any comfort issues, so these are great for walking! The stretchy elastic panel makes movement easy without any extra rubbing.
