7 Magic Mountains :: A Must Visit in Las Vegas

Away from the sparkling lights and buzz of the Las Vegas strip, sits a patch of desert with colorful rocks stacked on top of one another. 7 Magic Mountains started out as a two-year art installation in 2016 but now will be on public view through 2021. It’s definitely unique, vibrant and very different from what you can experience on the strip. If you’re heading to Las Vegas, I would say it’s absolutely worth the 20-minute drive, even if you’re taking a Lyft or Uber. In this post, I’ll be sharing everything you need to know when planning your visit to 7 Magic Mountains.

How to Wear a Corduroy Overall Dress for Fall

Happy First of October! I’m so excited fall is here and this past weekend, the weather in Coastal Virginia even cooperated! We got some crisp temperatures and it was divine. I wore this corduroy overall dress over the weekend and got so many questions on my Instagram! This is my second overall piece this season and I’m really digging the trend. This overall dress is retro-inspired but with some modern touches. The mini length is perfect for petite gals, I’m 5’3, and doesn’t require alterations. This particular overall dress dips quite low in the front, so it’s perfect for layering with your favorite top. I love this white stretchy off-the-shoulder top for a simple look. One thing I love about this particular corduroy is how stretchy it is. This dress is quite comfortable to wear and the sage green color is perfect for fall!

Diamond Shapes 101 :: Carats & Coffee with JamesAllen.com

I’m sure it’s no surprise Johnny and I love coffee. Nowadays when Johnny and I are together, we love setting up shop in a cafe sipping on coffee and getting work done. When we first met, we loved exploring coffee shops in Dallas. Then Austin when we went to the University of Texas. That love for coffee continues now when we travel, whether it’s to faraway places including Seoul or a few hours away such as Washington, D.C. I feel as if a cup of coffee is such a great bonding experience. It sets up the mood for whatever you’d like to talk about, good or bad. In this case, we’d like to talk to you about something good and sparkly: carats!

Fuchsia Pop :: The Only Maxi Dress You Need

If I have to choose one word to describe this dress, it would be ethereal. I feel like a Greek goddess in this fuchsia pop maxi dress. While devoid of any beads, sparkles or embellishments, this maxi dress still makes a stunning statement. You are sure to turn heads in this wherever you go. I love the classy high halter neckline. Plus, the super soft chiffon really moves, whether you are in the wind or creating your own when walking. Some of my favorite dresses are simpler, but let the draping and fabric do the talking. The two layers here really make this dress comfortable and easy to wear, yet still adds a little interest. Also, this fuchsia color is truly incredible. It’s the perfect neutral, not too warm or too cool, which means it’ll look great on so many skin tones.
