Floral Cami & Tie-Waist Pants :: Spring Work Wear

Lavender and lilac are still some of my favorite colors to wear this spring. If these pants look familiar, it’s because you’ve seen them multiple times before here. These pants are so easy to style multiple ways. The feminine bow and classic shape really make these pants a go-to for me. I love a good spring workwear look now that it’s finally warmer. I’m a firm believer in buying clothes you can wear multiple times as opposed to buying something of lower quality to wear once and throw away.

4 Ways to Wear Yellow this Spring

Yellow is without a doubt one of my favorite colors to wear. However, it’s not exactly easy for many people to grab a yellow garment off the rack and have it complement their skin color. In this post, I want to share a few yellow pieces I love and feel would compliment a wide variety of skin tones. Essentially, four ways to wear yellow this spring. While none of these are my preferred shade of yellow to wear, they are still beautiful. My favorite yellow to wear is a the same color as petals of a sunflower.  I’m sharing a mix of dresses, tops and even a fun jumpsuit. Spring is such a fun season when it comes to fashion and I hope this helps you find the right yellow piece for you!

The Spring Dress You Can Wear Anywhere

If you’re looking to shop for spring, look no further. This is the spring dress you can wear anywhere and it’s only $68. Whether you’re heading out for brunch, dinner date, even work, this dress is appropriate. While it has a v-neck it’s not too low. The fun playful feel of the knot and how the fabric moves oozes the spirit of spring. I absolutely love the yellow color, which is actually more of a sunshine yellow and less of marigold as portrayed on the site. Plus, I love how a different pair of shoes can really make the feel of this spring dress different. I’m wearing them with some of my favorite heels but a pair of fun flats or even sneakers would change the look. One aspect I love about this dress is long sleeves. They make this dress so chic and the overall length of the dress is just right. Not too long or too short. On my 5’3 frame, it hits just a few inches above my knee.

Why You Need a Pair of Wide-Leg Pants

You may have seen plenty of wide-leg pants popping up lately, especially on me! Wide-leg pants are very nostalgic for me. They give me the same vibes as the pants I would wear with an Ao Dai, which is a traditional Vietnamese long dress. I’m partnering with River Island on today’s post to share why you need a pair of wide-leg pants, especially for summer! Wide-leg pants are all the rage right now and these white ones are my current obsession. Wide-leg pants are extremely flattering on everyone and they really elongate you! Plus, they’re so comfortable to wear, especially in the heat because they aren’t tight or restrictive. They really let your skin breathe and keep you cool. This particular pair of wide-leg pants comes in 11 colors, including classics such as black but also fun colors such as lavender, pink and more!

Spring Brights :: The Donna Romper that Looks like a Dress

Hello My Beautiful Friends! Coastal Virginia got some incredible weather this weekend and you can say I was in heaven! It’s so nice to be able to wear dresses, rompers and shorts without being cold! Speaking of dresses and rompers, say hello to the Donna romper in this gorgeous tropical print. What I love about this romper is how it looks like a sheath dress! It’s literally the best of both worlds! The shorts or romper part underneath the skirt is cut from the same fabric but a doesn’t match the skirt exactly. It’s a fun peek-a-boo feeling if the skirt does fly up when you’re active, ha! However, when I’m wearing this Donna romper, I really don’t see the shorts at all and it looks like a dress the majority of the time.
